Things To Do In The Fall
Things To Do In The Fall

Fall is pretty much here! Ready or not. I am more of a summer person (as you probably know) so whenever the temperatures start to drop and the leaves start to fall I get kinda sad. I'm sure I'm not the only one. So I figured to get myself excited for the upcoming weeks I would create a little list of things that I want to do and will look forward to.

Lists are awesome. If I create a list I can basically become Superwomen and get everything I want done. If I don't have a list then I'll probably be on Youtube for 4 hours and get a whole lot of nothing done.

You can follow this list or create one of your own for fall. Make it fun and get out there and experience it to the fullest!

Carving Pumpkins

Carve pumpkins

This is an easy one. I don't think I've ever missed a year of carving pumpkins. It's messy, it's fun, and it's rewarding because you get pumpkin seeds!

Roast pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin carving leads us right here to roasting pumpkin seeds! This is a big thing for me. I eat so many that I question if I will get sick from eating basically a large pile of seeds from a whole entire pumpkin. That's never happened, but if it does it would be totally worth it.

Watch scary movies with tea and popcorn

Scary movies are my thing. I love them so much. There's nothing better than getting cozy with a scary movie, hot tea, and some popcorn. I recommend doing this one with a friend unless you can handle scary movies on your own. Then go for that! But I think I'll stick with having someone join me on this one.

Walk and enjoy nature

As you probably know, I live in Pennsylvania. Things get really pretty here around the beginning/middle of October. Getting outside and enjoying the nature around you is so rewarding and tons of fun regardless of where you live! I try to do this all the time but when the leaves are changing this becomes a huge priority for me. Definitely not something I want to take for granted.

Bonfire

Having a bonfire on a chilly night is so much fun. Sitting around a fire with people you love while roasting (vegan) marshmallows and checking out the stars is one of the best things.

Fall festival

There's a festival coming up in a few weeks here that Darrin is excited to go to. I usually don't get out to any fall festivals so I'm excited to go check it out!

Haunted house

I want to go to a haunted house this year so bad. Ahh. It's been a few years since I've been to one and that needs to change. So fun and something that I feel like I need to take advantage of during this time of year!

Apple picking

I'm not sure if there's somewhere near me that I can go apple picking. I need to look into it more because I really want to go! I went blueberry picking this summer and I want to continue my fruit picking until the snow flies.
