Smores On A Stick

I spend a lot of my summer nights near campfire's. Friends, family, good food, and even greater memories. That's probably one of my favorite things to do in the summertime. And you can't have a fire without having smores! The crunchiness of the graham cracker and the warm gooey marshmallow covered in chocolate (and peanut butter if you're feeling adventurous). Mmm. I love smores. But then again, who doesn't?!

You see, even though I love smores, I'm not good at roasting marshmallows. Not at all. Plus, every time I want to indulge in a gooey treat, I can't just start up a fire and make one. Wouldn't that be nice though?!

So the next best thing is this... Smores On A Stick.

Smores On A Stick

1 bag of chocolate chips
1 bag of marshmallows
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers
cake pop sticks
peanut butter (optional)
mini marshmallows (optional)

If you're making these with peanut butter, cover each marshmallow with peanut butter, place on a stick, and put it on parchment paper. After all of your marshmallows are covered, put them in the freezer until peanut butter is stiff. This takes about 20 minutes. While you wait for your marshmallows to stiffen up, you can melt your chocolate and get your graham crackers and mini marshmallows ready. Next, or if you're not using peanut butter, take your marshmallows out of the freezer and cover with chocolate. Then you can either coat them with crushed graham crackers, mini marshmallows, or just leave them plain! Throw these back in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set up. Then enjoy!

My favorite combination is peanut butter, chocolate, and crushed graham crackers. Mmm. But honestly, I'd eat any of these. :)

What is your favorite campfire treat?
