So I got back from California last Tuesday and haven't really had time to breathe let alone update. Sorry! But here we go.

So we got to California late on March 6th. We reserved an economy car and the rental place didn't have any left. We ended up with Shelia our Dodge mini van. We weren't really a fan of her in the beginning but as time went on, she wasn't too bad.
The next day we just explored a little bit and then that night I went to the Kings game vs. the Stars. I loved visiting another arena and experiencing their hockey games.
This was an acai bowl that I got from Feed Body & Soul. That restaurant was amazing. We actually went there twice and I got it both times. I loved how I ate it and knew that it was healthy so I didn't have to worry about it.

This is just a palm tree. Something that I really wish I was able to see each day instead of snow and dreary skies.

We went to Cafe Gratitude which was such a positive restaurant with uplifting and filling foods.

This was the Santa Monica Pier. Santa Monica was my favorite part of California. If I'm ever able to move there, this is where I want to go.

There were people taking a yoga class on the Pier the morning we were there. I really wish we were able to attend it, but we didn't know about it. Maybe someday.
This was the house that we stayed at. It was amazing. Tracy was so nice and helpful with everything. I just want to stay there forever.
This was Euphoria loves RAWvolution. It's a raw food restaurant. It was okay. The breakfast menu was a little restricted so I just got a smoothie. But I grabbed a cookie for later that day and it was amazing.
We found a farmers market in Silver Lake and it was the cutest little thing I've ever seen. I wanted to buy everything.

We were on our way to Griffith Park here.

Griffith park was seriously amazing. The views were breathtaking and I wanted to stay there and hike for hours.

We went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market which was AMAZING. We spent about 4 hours there and didn't even get to see everything. I really want to go back to it someday. There was just too much to look at. It was so overwhelming. I just didn't know where to look.

We stopped at Amoeba in Hollywood and I didn't get to really look around but I know that I'd be able to spend hours in there just looking at all kinds of stuff.

Monday was our last day in California. It was sunny and 80 degrees. We drove to Malibu and spent a few hours on the beach. It was amazing, but the water was pretty chilly.

After we left the beach we went to Topanga and then drove the Pacific Coast Highway back to the airport. We got back to Chicago Tuesday morning and it was snowing.
It was really hard for me to come back. I've been applying or jobs all different places. I just feel like I need to get out of here. I feel like I'm missing opportunities and I just want to do great things. I want to go far in life.
